Those with younger children might be interested in the following information regarding the

new Phonics screening check which came in last year.

1. The administrators guide pdf file is downloadable from https://www.education.gov.uk/publications/standard/AllPublications/Page1/STA/13/6277
Section 4.1 has instructions for how the teacher should introduce the
check and 4.2 is about scoring the check.

It is free to download and can be read with a screen reader on a computer, or you can print out sections you need , or pay them £7.50 for a hard copy.
